Thankful

Thanksgiving Day is a day that people gather together and reflect on everything for which they are thankful. I, like most people, am very thankful for my family and my friends. One of the things I am most thankful for is the love and mercy of God! I am thankful that He never gave up on me, even when I gave up on myself. I am thankful that during a time of my life where I was in a very low place, He came and rescued me. I am thankful that even during the times when I shut Him out of my life, He never left my side.

I do not deserve His love and can do nothing to earn it, yet He loves me with an everlasting love.

Thank you for your love, Father.  I am overwhelmed by your Reckless Love for me!
