First Time Riding Alone

I finally went mountain biking all by myself!  Usually my husband goes with me, but he had to work late and the weather was perfect…so I took a chance and went.  I had such an awesome time!  I went at my own pace, and just truly enjoyed myself.  The only downside to my ride was the fact that I forgot to turn my Strava App on, and I also forgot my polar at home.  It sucks because this time I didn’t take my usual 10-15 min break.  Other than just pulling over to let someone pass or grabbing water,  I didn’t stop for long at all.  I know I probably beat my personal record today.  Oh well!  There’s always next time!

Will This Help Me Blog More?

So I’ve been thinking of ways to find more time in my day to blog more often. I don’t get to sit down as often as I would like to in order to blog because of time restraints.  My solution was purchasing Dragon Naturally Speaking software.  I just got it, and I know there is a learning curve, but I’m really hoping this helps!

I hope it can detect my country twang.  ha-ha

Peeps. It’s What’s for Dinner

Okay.  I know that having Peeps for dinner is not the most nutritious choice that one can make, but it’s a choice that I made tonight.  To be quite honest, I wasn’t really in the mood for any particular kind of food and I saw some of the new Party Cake Peeps at the store, so I grabbed a pack.  I hadn’t planned on having them for dinner, but I did.  Peeps is something I used to get in my Easter Basket as a kid  I usually never ate them.  I went for the chocolate candy.  One can never have too much chocolate.  🙂   Marshmallow candy was for babies as far as I was concerned.  I have a confession to make.  I was wrong.  I love Peeps, well, at least the Party Cake flavor Peeps.  The stats on them are not too bad either.  If you are craving something sweet, these hit the spot.

Hi!  My name is Dana and welcome to my page.  Right now I am in the process of developing this page, but in the meantime, I would like to answer a question you may be wondering about. “Just what the heck does urwhaturnot mean?”  🙂

In a nutshell, urwhaturnot simply means this:  Whatever you were created to be, you already are.  It doesn’t matter what your circumstance is right now, how you look, or how you perceive yourself to be….you are what you are not.  George Washington was a president the day he was born.  He had everything that he needed inside of him when he let out his first cry.  Sure, it had to be developed, but nevertheless it was there!  It just needed to be unlocked.

We all go through different things in life that help us to discover, and to unlock, the potential that is deep within us.  My hope is that by creating this blog, it will not only help me to unlock even more of who I am created to be, but also that it can help you unlock who YOU were created to be.  In the coming days, I will be blogging about weight loss, aging, divorce, spirituality, and much more.
